The 26-year-old Bosnian-born professional poker player secured his fifth victory of the year in the early hours of Friday May 30. Imsirovic made 77 entries total to win Venetian High Roller $ 10, 11 no-limit hold'em event with buy-in, earning $ 200, 200 as champion. He now has $ 1, $ 796, $ 210 in tournament earnings since the start of the year, bringing his career to $ 23.2 million.
Imsirovic has made ten final tables in 2021 so far, meaning he has managed to secure the title 50 percent of the time he made it to the final table. As a result of his amazing performance in this year's high-stakes tournaments, Imsirovic is a leading contender for a number of performance-based awards. He scored 420 Card player Player of the Year scores points as champion, advancing to third place in 2021 POY racing rankings sponsored by Global Poker as a result.
