The top seven players ultimately made money in this scandal of high stakes, with the lion's share going to German online poker player Benjamin Rolle. The player, known to many by the nickname "bencb 789", cleared the stack at the final table to secure the title and first place prize of $ 381,400.

The one-day event took place on May 23, with Rolle winning the final hand in the early hours of the next day. Swiss poker pro Linus 'LLinusLLove' Loeliger was eliminated from the $ 56,545 money bubble, ensuring that the remaining seven players earned at least double the $ 25,500 buy-in.

2021 Card player Player of the Year race entrant Ali Imsirovic was the first to hit the virtual rail after the bubble burst earning $ 75.545 for eighth place. Though Imsirovic didn't add any POY points in this tournament, currently ranks sixth overall with four live titles, 1 $, 596,010 in POY earnings and 2,078 points per year.

World Series of Poker bracelet winner Daniel Dvoress was next out, earning 65,700 for his last deep run in the high stakes event. 2017 Super High Roller Bowl winner Christoph Vogelsang won the cash for 78,421 as fifth place, ensuring that the final four would earn six-figure payouts.

Hungary's Laszlo Bujtas finished his run in fourth place ($ 105, 919), setting up the showdown between Rolle, 2021 Master of the European Poker Tour Sochi Arthur Martirosyan and WSOP bracelet winner Joao Vieira, who is the all-time leader in online tournament earnings according to PocketFives tracking data. Vieira placed third behind $ 152,768, bringing his total online earnings to nearly $ 24.5 million.

Rolle defeated Martirosyan heads-up, sending Russian high-stakes home with $ 234, 244.
