A record of 57 entries was made in the event no. 1 of 2019 US Poker Open, $10, a buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament held at Studio PokerGO in Aria, Las Vegas.

After two days of play, Texas poker player Jake Daniels took the win along with a $218,500 with a $500,000 prize pool.

It was Daniels' third final table this year, and he is continuing the hot streak he started in December 2019 by winning at WPT

Five Diamond World Poker Classic. Last year, he won in Aria Winter High Roller Seriesand also in LA Poker Classic High Roller before the closing of the live tournament. Now he has nearly $ 1.6 million in tournaments in his career.

To win the title, Daniels had to beat a tough final table that featured high rollers Sergi Reixach and Barry Hutter Card player Columnist Steve Zolotow, 500 USPO

champion Stephen Chidwick and day one leader Dan Shak.

Daniels knocked out Chidwick in fourth place before Shak defeated Hutter to set up a heads-up match. Shak had an early lead of almost 2-1, but it was cooler when both players made straights which gave Daniels an advantage.

Soon after, Daniels managed to close a win game and secure the title.

Here are the results of the final table.
