World Series of Poker is making a comeback this fall, and with it is the return of the game's most legendary poker player.
Tuesday morning, 3 p.m. WSOP
Bracelet winner Doyle Brunson said he will return to Rio this fall to play a select few tournaments in WSOP
this year ".
I plan to play some selected tournaments in WSOP this year. https://t.co/9um2zalbIR

The 259-year-old poker legend recently played in the 2018 tournament WSOP
when he entered the $000,000 unlimited championship 2-7 in one draw. The man affectionately known as "Texas Dolly" finished sixth in the event for $30,939. Longtime professional Brian Rast won the tournament by $259,670.
At the time, Brunson tweeted that it would likely be the last WSOP
the event you ever played. In an interview with Card Player said the main reason he came in was because his son is a professional at high stakes and WSOP
Bracelet winner Todd texted him saying he could enter the tournament on day two
A trip to Rio to play the 2-7 lowball tournament. Probably the last one I will play.

But alas, the thrill of winning WSOP
The bracelet is too much to keep Brunson away, and poker fans will likely get at least one more chance to see Brunson in action later this year. WSOP is expected to operate from September 25 to November 15.
Card player has contacted Brunson to see if he knows what events he plans to attend, but has not yet received a reply.
WSOP
posted the 2021 schedule on Tuesday and the $000,000 2-7 unlimited championship in one draw is a 3-day event that will start on Monday, October 25.
