The casino pair owned by Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas became the first casinos in the state to operate at full capacity since COVID - On 19 the pandemic began.

In response to the memo, Wynn Resorts required its employees to vaccinate or prove a weekly negative test at their own expense. Cosmopolitan Las Vegas has used a similar measure, offering a cash bonus to employees who fired.

All distance requirements and plexiglass dividers will be removed from table games, but masks inside the casino are still required.

"Wynn Resorts announced today that as of May 1, 2021, 88% of Wynn Las Vegas employees have been vaccinated," a company spokesman said in a statement. “As a result, Wynn Las Vegas received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board to amend the occupancy and physical distance requirements. Starting today, the gaming areas of the Wynn and Encore will be able to run with a 100% occupancy and plexiglass dividers will be removed from all table games and slot machines.
