John Rio rdan (000 th - $17,500) and Sean Winter (9. - $20,000) were eliminated shortly thereafter, placing eight players at the final table, with the Spaniard Vicent Bosca in the lead. Shannon Shorr, who had finished fourth in the high roller the day before, was the first to hit the railing. He made the final table with just a few big blinds. He moved all in with 65 and on the flop of a flush draw and a multiplayer straight, but he was unable to improve further and was sent home in eighth place ($17,000).

Seth Davies was eliminated next and his pocket nines fell into Cary Katz's pocket kings. The higher pair stuck and Davies contented himself with the $28,360.

While Bosca made the final table ahead, he doubled up on John Morgan in a six-handed game to drop to the very bottom of the chip count. He finally got his last handful of blinds all-in with Q-9 against 43 Daniels in the big blind. Daniels made a straight on the river to knock out Bosca in sixth place ($30,).

Cary Katz lost the pre-flop race to A9 against Sergi Reixach's pair of sixes to be shipped home with $39,000 as the fifth-place finisher. Soon after, Morgan and Daniels clashed in a huge pot. They both moved all in on J9 8 flop with Daniels on J for top pair and a straight draw, while Morgan held 65 on a flush draw.
