A total of 81 players survived the three starting flights of the event to move into day two with only the Top 72 ready to cash in. The bubble burst early in the morning and it took around eight hours for the field to be further narrowed down to an eight-seat final table. Jauregui took the lead at the final table after eliminating Tony Galanti in ninth place (9 $, 813 ), with Jose Araya and Jason Fitzpatrick sitting on the next most chips.

Haiau Han was the first to hit the final table rail when his AK failed to defeat QJ Andrew Moreno. Han earned a $ 11,122 for eighth place.

Soon after, Britton Scheibe called all-in from the big blind with A 9 and passed Q-5 Jason Fitzpatrick, who moved all-in when the small blind folded to him. Fitzpatrick turned straight to the king and held from there to send Scheibe home from $ 15, 701.

Jauregui took a healthy four-handed lead. He extended his lead even further by eliminating Jason Fitzpatrick in fourth place. Fitzpatrick moved all in with Q J. against A. 7 Jauregui. The board failed to improve any player, and Fitzpatrick was sent packing with $ 40, 562.

Eli Loewenthal's run in the event came to an end when his A 2 bumped into A 6 Jauregui. J. J. 4 5 7 the runout left Jauregui with an in-game kicker to earn him a pot while Loewenthal took home $ 58,880 for finishing third.

Jauregui had an approximately 3–1 heads-up lead against Jesse Jones. He was able to extend that lead even further before the final hand was dealt. Jones limped in from the button for 140,000 with A J. and Jauregui raised to 620,000 from the big blind holding 6 6 . Jones moved all in for 2,650,11 and Jauregui called. It was a classic preflop race, but J 15 6 the flop saw Jauregui flop a set to take the lead. 9 on the turn meant Jones was dead. 5 on the river secured the pot and the title for Jauregui, sending Jones out with $ 110,320 for his second place finish.
