The ARIA The Poker Room hosted the 2021 monthly high-stakes tournament roster, with millions of prizes awarded along the way. The latest iteration of this recurring high roller festival featured four events running May 5-8, with 2 $, 555, 10 in total prize money awarded across the series.

Matas Cimbolas The first event on the schedule is the $ 18, the 10th buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament that tied for 55 total entries to form the $ 510, 10th prize pool that was paid out among the top eight players. The winner was Lithuanian professional poker player Matas Cimbolas who earned $ 163, 216 and 300 Card player Player of the Year points for a win. That was Cimbolas' 16th six-figure career tally, but he wasn't done collecting wages yet and POY points in this series.

Frenchman Johan Guilbert finished second, taking home $ 107, 107 and 271 points, while POY – race candidate Ali Imsirovic finished third behind the $ 71, 400 and 200 points. Like Cimbolas, both of these players made extra deep runs during this series.

Sergio Aido Next on the agenda was another $ 16, 10 no-limit hold'em high roller tournament. With 51 total entries, the prize pool increased to 470, 10 in the top seven finishers earning.

Spanish professional poker player Sergio Aido eventually won, earning $ 168,800 and 324 POY points for a win. It was his fifth POY - Qualified final table and first title of 2021. With $ 442,440 in year-to-date earnings and 1,221 total points, Aido now sits in 23rd place for 2021 POY race standings that are sponsored by Global Poker.

Cimbolas finished second in the event, just one day away from winning the previous tournament, adding 108, 400 and 271 to his year-long haul. Cimbolas had one previous one POY - qualified result in 2021, placing second with $5, 16 no-limit hold'em tournament buy-in at Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $ 197, 945 and 760 points. With 1,310 total points and $ 464,545 in box office this year he climbed to 20th place overall. Sean Winter finished third for the $ 75, 500 and 200 points.

Jack Hardcastle made his second final table in as many days after finishing fourth in the first event of the series and sixth in that event. $ 79, 216 and 250 were added in both tills POY indicates his total, which was enough to move him to 25th in the race POY .

Bill Klein The stakes were raised for the third no-limit hold'em event in the series, with the buy-in increased to $ 30, 10. A total of 40 entries were made before registration closed, creating a prize pool of 900, 10 to be split between the top six finishers. In the end, the lion's share of that money went to Bill Klein, who earned $ 324, 16 and 336 POY points as champion. This result boosted Klein's career tournament earnings to $3,748,332.

According to a tweet from high-stakes Jason Koon, Klein had had quite an eventful day before going into this event.

World Poker Tour Main Event Winner and high-stakes regular Seth Davies finished second with $ 224, 10 and 280 points. Ali Imsirovic secured $ 144, 16 and 224 points for his second third place in the series. This was Imsirovic's ninth final table to show 2021. With four title wins 1 $, 596.0 16 in year-to-date earnings and 2.90 POY points, Imsirovic finished third at POY leaders.

Sean Winter also made moves in the top 20 POY as a result of this event, earning $ 100, 16 and 168 points for fourth place. Winter has now played six final tables in 2021, amassing $ , 103 in earnings and 1,271 points. Now it sits in 18th place in the ranking.

Jake Schindler The final event in the series was another $ 28, 16 high roller no limit hold'em buy-in. Field 029 submissions formed a prize pool of £675.10, with only the top four players earning money. 2018 Card player Player of the Year award winner Jake Schindler finally won the title, securing the $ 310, 500 and 280 win points.

This was Schindler's third win of the series, finishing eighth in the kickoff event and sixth in the remaining $ 30, 10 buy-in tournament. All in all, Schindler accumulated $ 384, 900 in earnings and 414 POY points in this series, I move him to 75th place in the rankings POY .

Sixfold WSOP bracelet winner and two-time WPT champion Daniel Negreanu finished third in this event behind $, 10 and 197 points. This was Negreanu's first live cash tournament since the last live WSOP Europe festival which took place in October 2019. Negreanu increased his career tournament earnings to 50, 227, 300 with the latter, placing him third on the all-time poker list behind Bryn Kenney ($ 70, 649, 561 in earnings ) and Justin Bonomo ($ 67, 252,590 in earnings).

Negreanu was just days away from his last clash with Phil Hellmuth for their ongoing high-stakes heads-up showdown. After finishing third, he took to Twitter to comment on his return to the live tournament.

I'm just getting used to the long late nights in live tournaments, I placed third for $ 125k but I really hit the last hand which pre-flop had a clear fold then on the flop I found top pair in a pot where I didn't no business.
