The ARIA The Poker Room hosted a monthly roster of high stakes 2021 tournaments, with millions of prizes awarded along the way. The latest version of this recurring high roller festival featured four events that took place on May 5-8, with 2 $, 555, 10 in total prize money awarded throughout the series.

The first event on the schedule is the $ 18, 10 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament, which tied 55 total entries to form the $ 510, the 10th prize pool that was paid out among the top eight players. Ultimately, Lithuanian professional poker player Matas Cimbolas won with $ 163, 216 and 300 Card player Player of the Year points for a win. That was the 16-digit score for Cimbolas's career, but he's not finished collecting his earnings yet and POY points in this series.

Frenchman Johan Guilbert finished in the second, taking home $ 107, 107 and 271 points, while POY Race candidate Ali Imsirovic finished third for $ 71, 400 and 200 points. Much like Cimbolas, both of these players have made additional deep runs during this series.

Next on the agenda was another $ 16, 10th no-limit hold'em high roller tournament. From 51 submissions total, the prize pool rose to 470, 10 in the top seven finishers earn.

Spanish poker pro Sergio Aido ultimately won, earning $ 168,800 and 324 POY points for winning. It was his fifth POY - Qualified final table and 1st title in 2021. With $ 442,440 in earnings since the beginning of the year and 1,221 total points, Aido now sits in 23rd place for 2021 POY race classifications sponsored by Global Poker.

Cimbolas finished second in the event, just one day from winning the previous tournament, adding 108, 400 and 271 to his annual enlistment. Cimbolas had one previous one POY - Qualified result in their account in 2021, 2nd place with $ 5, 16th no-limit hold'em with buy-in on Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $ 197,945 and 760 points. With 1,310 points total and a $ 464, 545 at the box office this year, he climbed to 20th place overall. Sean Winter finished third for $ 75, 500 and 200 points.

Jack Hardcastle made his second final table in so many days, after fourth in the first tournament of the series and sixth in that tournament. $ 79, 216 and 250 were added at both checkouts POY indicates his total, which was enough to move him to the 25th place in the race POY .

Stakes were raised in the third no-limit hold'em tournament in the series and buy-in increased to $ 30.10. A total of 40 entries were made prior to registration closing, creating a prize pool of 900.10 which will be split among the top six finishers. Ultimately, the lion's share of that money went to Bill Klein, who made $ 324, 16 and 336 POY points as champion. This result increased Klein's earnings in career tournaments to $ 3, 748, 332.

According to a tweet from high-stakes Jason Koon, Klein already had a rather eventful day before the event entered.

World Poker Tour Main Event Winner and the regular high-stakes tournament Seth Davies finished second and took down $ 224, 10 and 280 points. Ali Imsirovic secured the $ 144, 16 and 224 points for second place in the series. This was Imsirovic's ninth final table in 2021. With four titles won 1 $, 596, 0 16 in earnings since the beginning of the year and 2, 90 POY points, Imsirovic finished third on POY leaders.

Sean Winter also made moves in the top twenty POY as a result of this event, earning $ 100, 16 and 168 points for fourth place. Winter has now played six final tables in 2021 amassing a $ . 103 in earnings and 1,271 points. Now it sits at the 18th position in the ranking.

The final highlight of the series was another $ 28, 16 high roller with no limit hold'em buy-in. Field 029 submissions have formed a prize pool of 675.10, with only the top four players making money. 2018 Card player Player of the Year award winner Jake Schindler finally won the title, securing $ 310, 500 and 280 points for the win.

This was Schindler's third win in the series, finishing eighth in the kickoff tournament and sixth in the remaining $ 30, 10th buy-in tournament. Overall, Schindler amassed a $ 384,900 in earnings and 414 POY points in this series, taking it to the 75th place in the rankings POY .

Sixfold WSOP bracelet winner and two-time WPT champion Daniel Negreanu finished third in this competition for $, 10 and 197 points. This was Negreanu's first live cash tournament since the last live WSOP Europe festival which took place in October 2019. Negreanu increased his career tournament earnings to 50, 227, 300 with the latter result, which placed him in third place on the all-time poker list, behind Bryn Kenney ($ 70, 649, 561 in earnings) ) and Justin Bonomo ($ 67, 252,590 in earnings).

Negreanu was just days away from their last encounter with Phil Hellmuth for their ongoing high-stakes heads-up showdown match. After finishing in third, he switched to Twitter to comment on his return to the tournament live.

I'm just getting used to the long, late nights of live tournaments, I finished third for a $ 125k, but I really hit the last hand that had a clear fold pre-flop and then flopped top pair in a pot I didn't have no business.
