World Series of Poker returns to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas at 979, with 64 gold bracelets to be presented from September 27 - November 23. WSOP We shared the full event schedule on Tuesday June 15, with loads of returning favorites and some new and exciting tournaments.

        In the WSOP press release which included the announcement of the roadmap, nine "new and noteworthy" aspects of the roadmap were highlighted:

            oct. 1-: $500 'Downhill' - $ 5 ,, GTD Prize Pool - Affordable buy-in and a multi-million dollar guarantee are the highlight of this weekend kick-off of the no-limit hold'em tournament with three starting flights.

          October 8 - November 19: Every Friday and Saturday series, play as the host of one of the returning flagship no-limit hold'em tournaments that have proven to be hugely popular in the past WSOP series

      including 'Millionaire Maker', 'Monster Stack', 'Double Stack', 'Kolos' and 'Closer'.

      Oct. 5: Stakes Raised on Heads-Up - WSOP

        announced a raise to $19, and a 64-player cap for this year's heads-up no-limit hold championship
      • October: $ 1, "Flip and Go" unveiled by GG Poker - Online Play Format Will Debut Live on WSOP
            . The tournament begins when each player goes all-in on the first hand, after dealing three cards with the choice of two to play. The flip will be played all over the table, with only one player going to the cashier, and from then on the tournament will continue in a more traditional fashion.
          October 27 - 25: Seniors Event Changes - This year's Seniors Event will feature two start days and one optional return flight.

          October 6, 13, 18, 21, & 24: More 'freezout' events on the schedule - WSOP

            This highlighted in the 979, "Any popular buy-in level from $500 to 5 $ will offer a real freeze."

            October 27: The Poker Players' Championship adds a single no-two-to-seven draw back to the mix - this $50,000 buy-in in this series expands to a nine-game mix, bringing another big bet game back into the fold.

          • Fox 16: Bounty Hall of Fame Event - Poker for the All Living Hall of Fame members are invited to a freeroll for the 1 $ 500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, which was priced in honor of the Foundation Year of the Hall of Fame. This event will be open to all players. Each participant of the Hall of Famer will receive an award that corresponds to the year in which they were inducted into the world's most exclusive poker club.

            The introducer will be announced during the event.

            • Fox 19: Increased buy-in for Pot-limit Omaha high roller - The WSOP

                will host the highest buy-in Omaha tournament in history of 979 with the new $50, buy-in
                  PLO the high roller that will be part of the package of high-stakes tournaments following WSOP
                    Major event which also includes $50, $88, and $88,000 no-limit hold'em tournaments with buy-in.
